AI Search Visibility ·  Last updated: 2026-08-19

Summary

The extension collects no personal data, sends nothing to us, and has no server, no account, no analytics, and no advertising. Everything it measures is computed in your browser and stored on your own machine.

What it does with data

When you audit a page, the extension reads that page and requests a few public files from the same site (robots.txt, llms.txt, sitemap.xml). These are ordinary public requests that any browser or crawler makes.

The resulting score, the page URL, and your settings are saved locally in Chrome storage. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Permissions

  • Read the page you audit (activeTab, scripting, host access) — to analyze the page. It reads a page only when you open the panel on it or press Record.
  • Tabs — a bulk run opens the pages from your list, records them, and closes them.
  • Network rules — to identify the extension as a chosen AI crawler for a single fetch, so you can see what that crawler receives.
  • Storage — your local records and settings.
  • Side panel — the extension’s interface.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete all records clears everything immediately. Removing the extension from Chrome deletes its storage entirely. Records also expire on their own after a few hours.

Children

This is a professional tool for website owners and is not directed at children.

Changes

Any change to this policy will be published here and in the Chrome Web Store listing before it takes effect.
