What the extension does
Extract PDF Pages lets you open a PDF file, select individual pages, and save them as PDF files or PNG images. All processing happens locally in your browser using libraries bundled within the extension. Your PDF files and any generated output are never uploaded to any server.
Data we collect
The extension collects anonymous usage statistics to help us understand how the extension is used and improve it over time. This includes events such as opening the extension, loading a PDF, and completing an export. No PDF content, file names, or personal information is included in these events.
Analytics are processed by a self-hosted Umami instance — an open-source, privacy-focused analytics platform. As with any network request, your IP address is transmitted; Umami hashes it for session detection and does not store it in plain text. No cookies or persistent identifiers are used.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, passwords, financial information, health data, browsing history, or the contents of any files you open.
Data sharing
We do not sell, transfer, or share your data with third parties. Analytics data stays on our own server and is used solely to improve the extension.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and the date above.
